@okay,

There isn't a front page because that was Bun's project and she hasn't been around much lately. However that was something they were working on. People basically just decided that the index page was good enough?

It all hinges on having somebody with the know-how willing to make the thing. I'm not sure who that person would be.

Welder would be more than up to the task. We already have all the resources we need to make and maintain a front page, and we don't know if miss_bun is going to reappear any time soon. Why not just go ahead with it?

What it really hinges around is that we would have to decide there is enough content on the site beyond the forums that a front page would be worthwhile.

After doing a quick dig with the search function http://forum.nogoblinsallowed.com/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=2825 I found an older discussion about this and it looks like the head admin wants the front page covered with stuff from the Magic folks and other gaming areas of the forum or at least did last time it was discussed..but now who knows? :confused:

...yeah? the point of the front page would be to host content. that hasn't changed because then it would be a completely different thing.

also bun's been gone forever now, what's important is what the community wants.
