Non-human creature cards in your graveyard can be cast as though they had Mutate with a mutate cost equal to their mana cost as long as they target Soulstitcher.
No matter the size of the monster, their true power does not reside in the bones, the meat, or the blood, and so it does not leave when those are gone.

The Rules

How To Nominate:
Quote the post with the card you want to nominate. Delete everything in that post other than the card. Copy and paste your quote into a post on this thread.
If you did it right the quote tag should link to the original post.

What's Eligible?
Any fan-designed M:TG card posted since the most recent CotW thread went live is eligible. It doesn't even have to be the first time the card was posted. Yes, Un cards are valid. No, Yugioh cards are not.

What's Not Eligible?
  • Nominating your own cards. You can only nominate cards by other people
  • Nominating a card from your own repost, regardless of whether or not the original post was yours.
  • Nominations that result from collusion. If a nomination is made in exchange for some sort of favour, or under some sort of threat, then the nomination is void.
  • Cards that have already won CotW are not eligible for future CotWs.
  • Nominations that I consider to be jokes or trolling.

A Note On Contests:
Many contest holders feel that having an entrant nominated for CotW will skew the results of their contest. To prevent this while still allowing those cards their chance at nomination, any card submitted to a contest is eligible for nomination to CotW as though the date the contest (or pertinent round of the contest) ended was the date the card was posted.

Updated the card so that the game doesn't just freeze if the caster controls no permanents or an opponent controls Tajuru Preserver-like effects.

Updated the card so that the game doesn't just freeze if the caster controls no permanents or an opponent controls Tajuru Preserver-like effects.

Each opponent who controls more permanents than you sacrifices permanents equal to the difference.

"plus one"

That's the wording I thought when I saw that card originally.

Would it be plus one? If you terminate a Sower of Temptation in response to the trigger the creature doesn't momentarily change control, although that's obviously a separate rule.

I'm not sure what the Sower of Temptation example means, but my reading of the card is: If I control 5 lands and nothing else and you control 5 lands, 2 creatures, and an artifact, to "sacrifice permanents until [you] control [fewer] permanents than [me]", you would have to sacrifice four permanents. If you just sacrifice the difference of three, you go to five permanents which is equal to what I have.

Oh, right. I was hung up on the wrong thing, I automatically assumed it read "equal to" instead of "fewer", I thought you were making some weird argument that you would sacrifice first and then check if it was equal after, which to begin with would really only matter if it was equal as you cast it, and not under any other circumstance come to think of it.
