it's CKY! make a card that uses the Benevolence ability word. as I read it, this is an ability word that denotes an additional effect when a spell that's beneficial to its target is used on a target you don't control. I have some issues with this particular execution, so I'll allow you to make minor changes to the mechanic if you so choose.

It would use the benevolence wording when targeting a creature: "If you don't control that creature, ..."

Rewording it to Gambit since benevolence seems like a weird keyword for a competive game

Benevolence - If you don't control that creature, you may copy Phyresis Plague and you may choose new targets for the copy

Because nothing says friendly like "Your big wurm will hit me for poison counters instead of lethal real damage and my chump blocker on the other one will deal -1/-1 counters"

EDIT: added an additional "may" to prevent a forced draw when every legal target is one you don't control

The Crown
The crowned creature is a Noble. It has vigilance if it's white, ward 2 if its blue, menace if its black, battle cry if its red, and mentor if its green.
Creatures you control that share a creature type with the crowned creature get +1/+1.

What happens when you target an opponent's creature with the copy? Doesn't it keep looping?

Yup, you can do the Chain of Smog combos in a way slightly more difficult than Chain of Smog. I don't consider that to be a huge deal.

Or you can infectize any number of opposing creatures and one that's not *shrug*. seems fit.

Was debating between letting you look at anytime, but in a multi player game, that might feel like it disrupts the flow too often so still opted for reveal.

I don't like how restrictive the flavor of the ability word is, so I changed it. It doesn't really make thematic sense to take advantage of someone you showed benevolence to.

Yeah, I know this basically gives haste and temp. control. to monoblue and flying to monored, but I think there's a viable overlap here.
