My intent was to give a "drawbackless" 2/2 without it being strictly better than a vanilla Bear, a la Runed Servitor. Vision Skeins also puts this in Blue, but I'd say it could certainly make its home anywhere in Bant if it cared to.

Nicolas Cage Will Play Nicolas Cage in a Movie About Nicolas Cage

Quote:
Cage’s entire career seems to have been building towards this very moment: THR says he’s in talks to play himself in The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent, a film that Lionsgate beat out HBO Max and Paramount to make. The plot sounds…wild, y’all. In the film, Nicolas Cage is desperate to land a role in a new Quentin Tarantino movie. He’s also “dealing with a strained relationship with his teenage daughter. He also occasionally talks to an egotistical 1990s version of himself who rides him for making too many crappy movies and for not being a star anymore.”

Much like the real Cage, this movie Cage is “under a mountain of debt.” These debts force Cage to “make an appearance at the birthday party of a Mexican billionaire who happens to be a fan of Cage’s work and secretly hopes to show him a script on which he’s been working.”

This is already pretty strange, but here’s where things get really far-out:

Quote:
While he bonds with the man, Cage is informed by the CIA that the billionaire is actually a drug cartel kingpin who has kidnapped the daughter of a Mexican presidential nominee, and is recruited by the U.S. government to get intelligence. The situation spirals even more dramatically when the Mexican brings over Cage’s daughter and his ex-wife for a reconciliation, and when their lives are on the line, Cage takes on the role of a lifetime.

If all of that wasn’t enough to hook you, you should also know that the film references real Cage movies like Leaving Las Vegas, Face/Off, and Gone in 60 Seconds, and that the script that Cage and the alleged drug kingpin are writing “begins to mirror events on the storyline.”

I know this isn't real because I don't live in the cool reality. It's the X99 universe jerks that are going to get this one.

Legendary Creature — Giant Berserker (M)
4/4
Haste
If attacking with one or more creatures you control would cause an ability of a permanent you control to trigger, that ability triggers an additional time.

Glamria, Illustrious Saboteur
Legendary Creature — Faerie Rogue (M)

Flying
If one or more creatures dealing combat damage to an opponent would cause an ability of a permanent you control to trigger, that ability triggers an additional time.

Vigilance, lifelink

At the beginning of your upkeep, you may search your library for a basic land card, put it onto the battlefield, then shuffle your library.

Neither of the following has been created (I might note that's regardless of creature type). One of these will be in my Nacimera set, in the Massasoit faction, whose thang is fun with Wizards and Warlocks.

Bloodcurdler of Derry
Creature-Human Warlock (C)
When Bloodcurdler of Derry enters the battlefield, target player loses 3 life and you gain 3 life
2/2

Bloodcurdler of Derry
Creature-Human Warlock (C)
When Bloodcurdler of Derry enters the battlefield, it deals 3 damage to any target and you gain 3 life
2/2

Oh, yeah.

I don't think that should be common.

Could I get away with the drain version (-3 life/+3 life) at common tho?

Not according to Siege Rhino

i mean you could always just give Sovereign's Bite legs, which i suppose is what you're doing, but the body would really have to be pretty pathetic if you wanna keep it at common. compare Murder (an already playable card in Limited, to say the least) to Ravenous Chupacabra (a no-questions-asked first-pick that defined its format). To stay at common, Doom Blade had to add 3 whole mana to become Violet Pall.

Bountiful Earth reminds me of Endless Horizons I wouldn't want to play your version in paper, that is a lot of shuffling.

I'm waiting for this to appear any day now
I'm 100% certain it won't be worded like this

Sip of Knowledge
Instant
Draw a card. If that card was on the bottom of your library, you win the game.
Legends speak of the Pools of Enlightenment, a bottomless lake that quenches an insatiable thirst.
