I am not sure I understand many of these tropes.

Underground Monkey specifically refers to a trope in video games; it's just a fancy way of saying recolored enemy sprites, usually in situations where it's really blatant (i.e. if you run into a monkey enemy in a forest near the game's beginning, and then later on run into another monkey with the same sprite, except it's blue, stronger, and found underground)
