Each player secretly chooses a number zero or greater. Then those numbers are revealed. You choose a player with the highest number, and then choose a player with the lowest number. The first player loses that much life and each of their opponents gain that much life. The second player sacrifices all but that many permanents, and each of their opponents draws cards equal to the number of permanents sacrificed in this way.

Sometimes the real crime is not what the law forbids, but what it allows.

Eminence - As long as Amenhotep is on the battlefield or in the command zone, you can't lose the game and your opponents can't win the game if you have ten or more poison counters.
, Pay 3 life: Target opponent creates a tapped 3/1 black Zombie Horror creature token named Plaguespawn with menace, infect, and "This creature attacks each combat turn if able." Activate only as a sorcery.
When Amenhotep leaves the battlefield, you lose all poison counters and lose that much life.

Trample
When Verdant Awakener enters the battlefield, put X +1/+1 counters on each Forest you control for each Forest and each Treefolk you control. (They are still lands, and do not become creatures.)
Whenever a Treefolk you control deals combat damage to a player, untap up to one target Forest you control. It becomes a 0/0 green Treefolk Warrior creature with hexproof and trample. It's still a land.
