Regarding abilities to emblems: it seems like the easiest method would be to trigger at a certain step.

Kneecrope Otense
Planeswalker - NotYawgmoth
: Skip your next draw step.
: At the end of your turn, draw cards up to 7 cards and lose 1 life for each card drawn this way.
: You get an emblem that has a copy of Kneecrope's second ability text.

Regarding Tlahuizcalpantecuhtli, I think the wording is right, based on the Oracle text of lignify.

Do they need to be separate emblems? Sarkhan, the Dragonspeaker has two separate abilities on his singular emblem.

: You get an emblem with "Whenever you cast a spell, create a 1/1 white Spirit creature token with flying" and "All creatures have base power and toughness 1/1."

Doesn't save a ton of text, but it saves some.

Kind Spirit -
Creature - Spirit | C
Flying
When Kind Spirit dies, return it to the battlefield transformed and attached to a creature you control.
1/1
-----TRANSFORM-----
Prized Possession
Artifact - Heirloom Equipment | C
Equipped creature has flying.
Equip

Does the above require a target to transform? I want to avoid that.

The rules don't specify what happens if an equipment tries to enter the battlefield attached to something and can't, but just to be clear, I'd take wording inspiration from Stonehewer Giant or Quest for the Holy Relic.

"When Kind Spirit dies, return it to the battlefield transformed and attach it to a creature you control."

No your right. This is the best way I think.

I designed this card. How does it work?

Tlahuizcalpantecuhtli can't attack or block and loses all other abilities unless you control the least number of permanents among players.
During your turn, other creatures you control get +2/+2.
Whenever another creature enters the battlefield under your control, exile target creature an opponent controls until that creature leaves the battlefield.
3/3

What part are you confused about?

Scenario:
- Tlahuizcalpantecuhtli (forgive the name, Dudibus picked it - let's use T) is active.
- Cast Grizzly Bears, T triggers, exile an opposing creature.
- You control more permanents than opponent, T becomes inactive and loses abilities
- Grizzly Bears dies - Does the exiled creature return to opponent? OR since T doesn't have the triggered ability anymore does the "leaves the battlefield" portion no longer apply?

Same scenario, but T becomes active again (does it lose historical "memory" of which creature you control exiled which opposing creature when it entered?)

The duration of the exiling is set when the ability resolves and is independent of anything else at that point. As an example, see this ruling on Constricting Sliver:
Quote:
The exiled card will return even if the Sliver whose ability exiled it doesn’t have that ability at the time (perhaps because Constricting Sliver is no longer on the battlefield).

What Jim said. "Exile until" effects are part of the original triggered ability. If T had separate abilities, one that exiled and one that returned the exiled card, then deactivating T would prevent the cards from being returned.

How should we best word Soulclash Shaman?

Here's what I've come up with:

Create a token copy of target creature under the control of a player other than its controller. Those creatures fight each other.

Does that work? Does the card remember who "Those creatures" are?

Edit: Oh my, CKY seems to have already edited in the autocard! I should really check that spoiler for any other cool things he did. Nevermind! Leaving this up because I hate having post phantoms throw off the pagebreaks, but if anyone has an even better wording, I'd love to hear it. It's kind of a whacky effect.
