Am I right or am I extremely right?

Labs seems like the most welcoming and nicer people. Everyone else is clinically insane in some way or another.

By chillness:
Crossbreed Labs has a pretty weird philosophy, but that just puts them on par with many normal people.
THe Order Of The Widget are nuts, but keep it mostly to themselves.
The Explosioneers are pretty dangerous, but don't seem actively malevolent.
SNEAK seems pretty malevolent, but not especially competent.
The Legion is just full of nope.

I mean, for my money I'm dropping a sponsorship to Explosioneers > LODD> SNEAK > Widget > Labs

Art descriptions are up for some of the neater Unstable cards.

This is a set where I want to see all the descriptions. I feel like there might be some little jokes we miss without knowing about them.

My one real problem with contraptions is that too many of them rely on "target creature" junk.

I kind of had a nagging issue with the Baron von Count art and I've realized what it is: the numbers in the art go 1-2-3-4-5 rather than 5-4-3-2-1.

Feels like a weird thing to miss tbh.

This is from the art description:
Quote:
Introduce us to the legendary character Baron Von Count, using the dapper fellow in the reference as a starting point. He stands in his lair, arms spread wide, reveling in his moment of triumph. IMPORTANT: In addition to the character, this card's art must prominently incorporate the numbers 1 through 5. (The card's mechanics require counters to be put on the numbers.) They need to be clear, but they should also be incorporated into the setting as elegantly as possible. The numbers could be in a row at the top or bottom or arranged in a circle around the character, but they should be in order, and they need to be big enough to physically put a counter on at card size.

Wonder if they had mechanical details nailed down at that point.

By the time they get around to writing art descriptions, card mechanics are pretty well nailed down. They do the art in several waves, so if they still need to fiddle around with the mechanics, they'll commission the art for that card in a later wave. After they've written the art description, they can massage the wording slightly but the time for major changes is past.
