Hrm... I really really need to comb through everything I've posted and actually figure out what hasn't been voted into the archives.

Also, I'll admit a tiny bit of frustration at having everybody so busy that I can't gripe about someone that's pissed me off. (it's none of you, you're all great)

Hey, no matter how busy I am, I'm willing to take ten minutes out of my day to listen to you gripe.

As am I. I mean, we've already had a bit of back-and-forth on it, but anything you need to get off your chest, I'm here for.

That goes for the rest of you lot, too. Lord knows I don't do much else around here, but at least I can offer a shoulder, ear, or whatever other body part you need.

Does that include kidneys?

Possibly. Though, if you want a heart, you're better off asking OL. His is 24 karat.

You're definitely better off with my heart than with my kidneys! Heart's been doing great work, but, man, those kidneys... :face:

I like you folks fine, but I'm sorry; you can't have my organs.

I might, however, be persuaded to write you an appendix, should the need arise.

:D

I'm absurdly close to finishing a story I've had drafted for like.... 2 years but never sat my ass down to write.
Currently sitting at ~16k words.
I need to figure out another few names, think up a title, do an editing pass, and then work out how I'm going to divide this up since I'm 90% sure it won't fit in 1 post.

Part of me would love to do this as a serial, but realistically, I can't promise I could do that. I'm impatient as hell.

I mentioned a few days ago that I might be getting sick. As proof that my mind isn't working correctly, I have decided to create a conversation comprised entire of random posts (or parts of them) from this thread. Let's see how this goes...

I mean, Solphos basically is Kaladesh, just with fewer flying cars and more occult symbolism.

Excellent point here, and something that I feel gets missed a lot with the original.

Thank God you weren't there when it happened?

That stinks with a capital "S." I'm so sorry, Keeper.

I'm cold, and there are wolves after me!

Did OL ever escape those wolves?

Well, on the bright side, I've solved one problem I've been struggling with.
Came up with a title for my next piece.

I trust it's a cringe-worthy pun or obscure reference of some kind.

All the best titles are...

So, I'm not taking Stan's death too well.

In other news though, I do have the next title for my Antony piece.
Spoiler

Though the prompt is sad, story time: I actually encountered Stan Lee twice over the course of my work (Catering in LA). Once was, naturally, at the after-party for the premier of Thor: the Dark World; I may not have been assigned to the VIP section, but I did at least take note of those present at some point in the night. The other was at a much smaller event at the DGA. I don't even think Stan Lee was supposed to be at that party, it wasn't for anything he'd have been attached to, I think he just had business at the guild (it was the middle of the day), saw that there was an open buffet, and decided to cameo in life. It's not like there was a door man or anything, those parties are always full of walk-ups, and even if there had been it's not like you'd bounce Stan Lee. Sadly, I didn't talk to the man either time, but it would have been horribly unprofessional to act the fan while working as the bus boy.
