I personally like to consider it 'Hating on Green Light' what with that being the source of most of Steams problems.

I picked up spintires in humblebundle and my awareness of it says its a hilarious game to play non-seriously with friends, getting bogged in more and more creative ways while trying to free each other. So, who wants to be my spintire friend?

I don't mind partying up with you, but I'm not sure I'll be able to play all that often, or even in the same time zone.

Was that for Contagion or Spintires? I dont really play Contagion very much, I just have 4 free codes and I dont totally hate everyone here, so why not be generous?

When Steam doesn't accept mousepad/nub scrolling and crawls along like cold honey with the mouse wheel, using my browser is much more pleasant when browsing a sale. Still not ideal, but much more pleasant.

I have literally never bad that problem but I own a ton of games and have a huge wishlist and what it displays is based on marketting stuff so it has more diversity to me. Or you just aren't using steam right.

Then I must not be using Steam right:

Also, what the hell do Fallout 4 and Witcher 3, two open-world RPG adventure games with sandbox elements, have to do with a 14-year-old 2d vertical Japanese arcade shooter?

Maybe it's determined by factor analysis?
More to the point, how satisfied are you with the upgrade to Windows 10?
Yeah, Steam really needs to do an overhaul. I guess the features they've added just don't jive with the underlying program anymore. It might be time for Steam 2.0. Most annoying thing for me is the wishlist. You can drag and drop to reorder your wishlist, but then you have to scroll back to the top to save the changes. Why? And if you remove something from your wishlist, that change is immediately saved, but it will revert all your previous drag and drop changes. And of course it sends you back to the top of the wishlist just incase you wanted to scroll back down.

I've gotten so used to mentally filtering out things like that that I literally didn't notice it until I posted. I kind of wish I had caught it but it's not like you couldn't tell I did something with the taskbar. I half-decided recently to upgrade but it turns out the "upgrade later" button means "download the upgrade anyway", so I went with it.

At least someone else agrees with me that the Steam UI is lacking.

Once I scroll down far enough I get that, though I personally don't find the infinitely long front page of steam to be useful even when it isn't presenting me the same title two lines later.

I generally dislike infinite scrolls on any service/website, but then Steam makes me dislike it more because of those things.

So...I got this trading card from the Holiday sale. Is it better to sell it for .29 cents or for 180 gems?

29 cents is more than you get for most cards, so I would do that. 180 gems is about standard for a trading card, so you're not missing anything special. If you want a more detailed breakdown of gems vs cash, I would like to hear it too. In the past I've mostly gone cash.

Is anyone else going to bring it up, or should I be the cynic?
