King, it's really very simple. For me to win at this point, one of two things needs to happen:
1) Tevish dies, and I get my hands on the green emerald
2) I die, and Monster revives me as a different alignment

Both of those require Monsters help, so I can't side against her.

There's maybe a 3rd option where Tevish makes a wish to make me Cyan, but I don't have a lot of faith that's going to work once the person granting the wishes is dead. Plus, it relies on trusting Tevish. Too many ifs.

Either way, I'm probably ****, but lynching you now is still my only path out if one exists at all.

Zinger, you really are going to trust Monster to act in your best interests rather than me? If M0nster lives we're just going to enter a rerun rut where I'm here wishing for stability and whacking moles while Monster stands more up. That benefits monster, who wants to drag this out to day 9, and I'd have been cool with that, but doesn't really fix your sorry dead-ended behind. I can do that by making a wish to turn you cyan the endgame move.

The thing about Monster is that she's incentivized to live until D9 triggers her win con. At any point you become Tevish, she'll do whatever it takes to undermine you as well.

That being said, Tevish can do whatever he wants. So long as he doesn't die, and truly with the White Chaos emerald there is a nonzero chance he never dies, he can essentially do whatever he wants. Monster being removed from the living players would, I assume, prevent her from winning via her win condition, but maybe it'll still allow her to win. That just makes Tevish has to make tactful decisions about ending the game asap. The more roadblocks he encounters (such as you wanting to side with Monster and give her a chance to win) means he'll not only be less incentivized to help you (thus bringing about my declaration that you get left behind . Plus it brings up the the fact that he'll, possibly, be cut short in decisions to end the game prior to Day 9 thereby making it nigh impossible to help you as you so aptly want.

You say that, but I distinctly recall the vote count showing you as not even participating between myself and Monster.

Now don't get me wrong. I fully understand why you're saying that since, you know, you win as long as Monster survives. I get that; however, and hear me out, Tevish had the White Chaos emerald.

Now sure, I know what you're thinking. Truth is, it matters because you're essentially giving every reason for Tevish to not focus on having a lot of people win. Not only that, but even if you get rid of me, I'll still come back because of Monster or I'll be left dead as Cyan. I benefit either way. And as a strict plus, I'm already of the opinion that Monster needs to die anyway, so even if you get rid of me and I come back as w/e, guess what? It's straight back to business while Tevish maintains his hold on the game via the White Chaos emerald.

Now you know what would be really interesting? If you all of a sudden became Cyan. Or even Zinger becoming Cyan. It doesn't matter, because the moment that happens Monster loses support and cannot count on me to support her because, ultimately, her achieving Day 9 doesn't bode well for anyone.



So no matter how this turns out, I'll patiently be waiting for Monster's head.

Alternatively, you can just sit off to the side again like before and wait to be picked up by Cyan. I, personally, wouldn't blame you for the inaction. You already did it once before.

I'm just hoping everyone gets in here and remembers to re-vote. Zinger and Neon have interests. when strictly playing towards their current wincon, to support M0nster. Queenie doesn't. Neither does Aaarrrgh, who was likely voting KoD just to absorb Cyan-ness and who may not revote the same way when it's a deciding matter. Since blue has the double vote, I feel like M0nster goes to the GY in the event of full turnout.

That's true although in that case I was still trying to hide my identity and my wincon and I had publicly voted in thread cause I'm an idiot so I voted off you too protect myself and ultimately M0nster.

But every card in the deck is solved I don't need to play pretend anymore you and everyone else knows what I'm here to do and unfortunately that means in this 1 v 1 I need M0nster to survive even as it's increasingly apparent that I probably never finish the game as my current role I am still myself right now and I will protect my beloved as instructed.

I have asked Monster for clarification on when my ability locks in. That will decide what I do next.

Aaarrrgh, I urge you to pick up your cyan vote on a later day if doing so now would contribute to a KoD Lynch. It's less than ideal but naders are out and Monster is the single largest wildcard that could force this thing off plan.

I will never forgive anyone who kills M0nster. I will sit in hell and have a tea party with Satan and contemplate my revenge.

Unfortunately, I think it is still in my best interest to become cyan as soon as possible. I believe the game will end if Zinger stops being green, will it not?

Both tevish and Zinger are currently threats to cyan. Monster living likely creates more threats, red probably so they can kill. Grey maybe for similar reasons. Other orange was likely instituted to destabilize tevish's emerald hold. But if they do nothing they are not a threat and are cyan convertible so it's unlikely we see more of them if monster lives.
