<insert 4 mana 7/7 meme here>

I think I like this in limited. Doesn't seem too hard to untap it in this set, and a 7/7 with trample is pretty scary.

You could totally make a Power Rangers themed deck. Play your Koth the Red Ranger and power up your Traxos Megazord.

I feel like this is a cramped type line away from being a dragon. I was actually kind of hoping they'd revamp the typeline with this set.

I'm not sure they would have made it a non-flying dragon even if they had the space.

Not a fan of the name. Kroog is just so cheesy but the rest of the card isn't cheesy enough to match.

I thought there would be a long, if distant history of flightless dragons to counter your argument. But there there are just 3 and none are recent.

It's not like they just made it up though

I just realized something: this guy's head is the Scourge expansion symbol.

BTW, did you know the name of every expansion is purportedly referenced in a card name or flavor text?

Specifically every expansion set on Dominaria. I'm pretty sure Ixalan isn't referenced anywhere.
