Also, in battlebond drafting you will have four teams of two. You will have four packs per team (so 16 packs total) and the team gets to draft two cards from each pack at a time

I don't even know what battlebond is, but I'm now convinced it is awesome.

*"To YMTC it up" means to design cards that have value mostly from a design perspective. i.e. you would put them in a case under glass in your living room and visitors could remark upon the wonderful design principles, with nobody ever worring if the cards are annoying/pointless/confusing in actual play

It's a 2HG supplemental set intended to be played limited. 1/3 of the cards will be brand new, and they'll be legal in legacy and vintage.

I hope we get the enemy cycle for this, and soon enough. I really like these for EDH.

We did an 2hg ixalan draft with 6 packs (2 picks at at time) and 8 groups of 2 players and I was still not amazed of how the weaker of the two decks came out, I suppose that having less auras, combat tricks and other stuff that gets worse when your opponent can keep a lot of mana up each turn around could still make the smaller pool more manageable, but it is still just 10-12 picks that you can't run, which seems pretty tricky if there's too much filler in the packs.

How generous of Wizards to finally print a dual land that doesn't have a drawback since the original dual lands. Well, doesn't have a drawback in the only format that matters in my opinion.

Wonder if 5 years from now they will print these again, but with the basic land types stapled to them.

Usually I hate cards like this where they are blatantly overpowered but only in a casual format. The fact that it is meant for draft makes it not bug me as much.
