In my (admittedly very limited) experience the best archetypes are:

The various vehicle decks (Mardu especially, but Boros is also fine)
White weenie, Boros weenie, RDW, possibly zombies but I've not seen it
Jund Ramp (the one that I made, of course :D)
The various shades of pure control
Mill (?)

Reason being that we have quite-strong sweepers, so you either have to play stuff that survives, or play the sweepers yourselves. That eliminates all the midrange decks. The mentioned non-vehicle decks are fast and strong enough to force a sweep-or-bust situation, so they're also contenders. Control decks play rock-paper-scissors with themselves, and it's possible to tune to beat other control and lose to aggro, or to beat aggro and lose to other control. Everything else can still win but as mentioned the sweepers are real problems. That leaves decks that don't plan to win with creatures, and the only one I can think of offhand is mill, which has polarizing matchups and in-built variance.

I admit though, I've not played that much, probably less than 100 games post AHK.

I'll try to come up with a list for Elk tonight of decks that I think should make it

For Aggro, there will be Orzhov Zombies, Radkos Aggro, mono-red, Dimir artifacts... I'll come up with something comprehensive tonight

Ok here's what I think should be included

Orzhov Zombies
Jund Ramp
Temur Émerge
Bant Tempo
Mardu Control
Radkos Aggro
Simic Ramp
UBR artifact aggro
Gruul midrange beat down
Mono big red
Mono pauper red :)
UBR flicker
Abzan Control
Gruul tokens
4 colour Superfriends
Izzet burn
GUR geistblast Ramp
Radkos artifact aggro

That's the best of the best that I've found. None of those have ever lost two in a row for me over hundreds of games

Esper and Grixis control don't make your list Barney?
I reckon there's a few more flavours of ramp beyond Simic that make it too.
A couple of flavours of white/boros weenie/aggro also.

Mind you, I almost just took 20 damage from a Wandering Fumerole playing Esper control - Had nothing but counter spells. All 9+ answers buried in my library of 40 lol..

That all seems very good decks (except one... i´m looking at you super friends) I think we should make some sort of trials 1313
Maybe there could be limitations on the top 30 spots so we can work out an elimination process, sort of 5 Aggro 6 midrange 4 control IDK I like the idea but I can´t manage to get a grip to it.

I could never make espère or Grixis Control work, Kel.

I got two Superfriends decks in my list too :)

It normally works for me and feels pretty unbeatable barring a bad draw (or an opponent's god draw). I just found it fascinating sitting there with a "control" deck and being utterly helpless as I watch this 1 battle land slowly dismantle me.

I've never been dirty enough to play Superfriends (or mill), but I know there'd be at least one flavour of it in the top 30.

In the top 30 maybe, but not in the top 10. Both archetypes are hated out easily enough seeing how the current Meta is either really fast or counterspell-based Control; both of which Mill and Superfriends don't have the best match-up against.

I'm throwing my hat in the Ring for Jeskai Control. That deck has put in all of the work for me this season.

Oh, true. Black has been the best monocolour deck since AER, and has become better with AKH.
Zombie Tribal is better off in Orzhov/Dimir, but mono-Black Midrange has a lot of nice tools to work with; even if it folds to Control.

Monored is the only mono that should make this list

Something that I had spent time thinking about that lead to this thread was what the meta will be like in say.....6 months. A year. Most long time players will have moved on or will be infrequent at best. That'll leave new folks finding the game and grinding out the pool (can't imagine too many folks investing in the game and if they do, it'll be small $$). A lot of times our meta paralleled the set we were in which meant playing the flavor of the set or using that set to update competitive decks/ old favorites. When the people maintaining that particular meta are gone and new people are what's left to create it, are they going to end in the exact same spot we're in now? My thought was 'no' since I don't think everything being run right now would be top 30 material. That meant what possible decks out of the pool could people create that new meta with (or what are the actual top decks that people would find/use). Then like I mentioned before, why not create the libraries worth so that anytime we popped back into the game, we should be able to pick anything and have a good chance at being competitive.

So if we go based on that type of thinking, several folks have mentioned some decks that don't see play now but could be considered as part of the top 30. So for example, a debatable one is something like the elves suggestion. If a completely current version was created with everything we have access to, would it make it in to the top 30 list? I know it wouldn't be a top 10 deck but could it be say 29 or 30?

Regardless of how we create the top 30, I'm not sure how to start drilling it down from this initial point. There's been quite a few decks listed/mentioned and not sure a poll could be created to cover all this. Maybe something like I try to pull all the decks out of the thread and make a post of it. Then everyone quotes that post and votes yes or no against each deck listed? Then tally up the number of 'yes' and repeat the process for any 'tiebreaker' situations (as in we determine the top 20 and then create a shorter list of all the tiebreakers and people revote for the remaining spots)? If that's not good, maybe folks have some other suggestions on how we intend to narrow it down?

I really thought mono-green found a good/competitive midrange deck in the last season or two.
