The flat Earth people are actually smarter. They’ve tried some extremely math intensive **** to come up with maps of the planet’s geography that work with their theory. They are probably the smartest stupid people on the planet.

Except that one time while at a bar when a lawyer friend of mine who I have a high opinion of his intelligence asked me if I had ever seen the skys of L.A. on a clear day after a bunch of planes had went thru. I instantly felt bad for the way I reacted but we sat down and had a drunk conversation in which I couldn't remember exactly why vapor occurring from the compressed air that a wing of a certain size traveling through the air at a certian speed would be perfectly normal so I'm 100%positive I articulated myself poorly and made a complete ass out of myself, but whatever.

Finally, a major point in the article is flat false. We didn’t lose 40% of our generation to cold weather - unless you measure the loss from the peak, which is not a logical way to make that measurement (we never got back to that level). We failed to meet 40% of the peak needs. Let me clarify: using that article’s logic we are still not producing 40% of our available power, or our grid continues to be 40% deficient today.

Yesterday someone killed himself and injured his brother while trying to rig an explosive device for his upcoming gender reveal party.

Last week an attendee was killed by shrapnel from an exploding canon that was rigged with explosives for an engagement celebration.

Last summer an explosive device used for a gender reveal party in southern California caused a wildfire that burned 20,000 acres, caused the evecuation of a town and destruction of homes, AND killed a fireman that was working the fire.

These are just the three most recent that I remember. There are dozens more. At a wedding celebration, the grandmother of the ?bride? was killed by shrapnel from an exploding cake.... ect.

It's pretty shocking that California (and other affected regions) doesn't (don't) have regulations against that kind of behavior.
