Now see, I don't know what to think. I've had a plant manager and four drivers come down with it and they are back working and fine other than most of their smell has not come back yet. One of my mechanics is out with it right now and he's not doing the greatest but he also smokes like three packs a day and is diabetic.

The Switch has an LCD screen that uses IPS technology. These types of screens are commonly used in smart phones due to their superior viewability in direct sunlight as compare to the other top tier of screen types (specifically OLED and AMOLED).

Unfortunately Nintendo did a piss poor job when sourcing the screen for the Switch. Unlike most smartphones, the switch has piss poor visibility in direct sunlight, and even underperforms in rooms with open windows. This is a know issue and the only way to address it is by Nintendo upgrading future Switches to a superior screen. Your model is beyond help unless you have the know how, skill and tools to install another screen in it. Sorry for the bad news.

In multiple years the only time it’s come up is an area with tons of dark maroon and brown. I can live with that. Most games don’t seem to use the color palette of a taco bell restroom; so i guess i just can’t visit Minecraft hell before six o clock lol.

I'd add to that note that; Red (on the light spectrum, therefore the energy of the color red's wavelength) is the weakest of all colors that humans can see. Although we think of Red as a bright color, it is actually the first color to disappear as the lighting gets darker.

Since we're dealing with a screen that projects light, the inverse is true. Heavy ambient light will wash out any reds first, and since brown is a pretty dark color (i.e. low energy) it would get washed out by bright ambient light as well. So, your experience makes perfect sense on a low quality screen.

Netherrack is also a very dark red to begin with; so further support.

You know what I noticed? Nobody panics when things go "according to plan"...even if the plan is horrifying. If tomorrow I told the press that, like, 234,264 will die from a virus nobody panics, because it's all part of the plan. But when I say that 3,000 will die all at once die...[voice rises hysterically] well, then everyone loses their minds!
