That is a good Jhoira picture. I also love how salty Liliana is at all these characters thousands of years older than her who didn't need demon-deals to get that way.

She's just very exasperated the entire time we're on the Weatherlight and around Jhoira and Jodah and all. Maybe that's just subconscious headcanon on my part.

I'm still interested in finding out how Teferi's spark ended up in an old powerstone that Jhoira has.....That's not how I remember things going down in Future Sight.

As always, Urza's sole redeeming quality is and remains that he was ruthlessly dedicated to ending the threat of PhyrexOH WAIT HE DOESN'T EVEN HAVE THAT URZA YOU ARE THE WORST!!!

Terferi's great, though. 60 years of ordinary mortality have really chilled him out in the best way. I give most of the credit to Niambi ruthlessly skewering him for the last 50 years.

To be completely honest, I'm kinda hoping that artifact, whatever it is, fails spectacularly.
If Zhalfir comes back, that'd just feel cheap.

Dominaria is healing, looking good these days, but there are some wounds that just shouldn't go away.

There's ways to bring back Zhalfir and not have it be hunky dory. Zhalfir could come back as a militant nation for some reason. It could also bring them back as shadow creatures or, instead, bring the Dauthi and Thalakos into the tangible along with them.

I not sure how I feel yet about the little aside making Zhalfir seem like the Wakanda of Dominaria, but I caught that little nod none the less.

You might be just seeing that, wasn't the whole Dominaria story this time around written before Black Panther movie came out and the author might not have been familiar with the comics?

I'm just saying, you swap out Zhalfir for Wakanda, Phyrexia for something like Thanos, Urza for...like Tony Stark, and Teferi as T'challa telling the story, and you have the basics of a really good Marvel story arc.
