I had a dream that Useless ran a contest where this was an appropriate submission but then the contest didn't exist so I'm posting it here instead.

So did you win the contest before you realized it didn't exist?

I woke up before grades were posted, but because it's not real I'm the only entrant so I guess I won by default.

It's more aesthetic for stuff like this to trigger on the relevant player's upkeep, but that creates one more stop on MTGA, so it's impossible to know if it's good or not,

I can now unironically say something like "Famous youtubers have dreams about me!"

yeah I could go either way but I since there's a bail clause liked the idea of all the damage happening simultaneously.

oh, yeah, no, the goal isn't to gain life. it's basically an escape clause if you find yourself behind on the race and need to change gears.

well, you can phrase it like that if you want, but in the end of the day, it's 4 mana and a permanent for 3 life

Kind of like how you might die to your own Phyrexian Arena but not to your own Underworld Connections

yes, I agree, if you are running this card to gain life, then it is very inefficient for that purpose.

that is not why you run this card, though.

it's a green lifegain spell that you use a red card to cast.
